Who am I

My name is Bart. My best friends call me Bub. I enjoy sports, helping people and spending time with family and friends. My friends and family characterise me as: loyal, with integrity, positive attitude, committed and patient. I have been working in the same field: Treasury (money management) for 25 years. Most of which in a corporate environment. Living on "auto-pilot", yet combined with a huge amount of stress bothered me so much at one point that I changed course.

What is Ikigai coaching

I combine the various elements of the profession, such as life coaching, career coaching, stress counselling, into 1 integrated approach influenced by the Japanese concept Ikigai, among others. Hence I also call myself "Ikigai coach". I include all kinds of different facets of life in my coaching conversations, but do not use just 1 particular method such as NLP, RET or systemic work. I prefer to combine the best of all kinds of methods and techniques in my own approach: "Ikigai coaching".
